I usually come to lemans with a big group and enjoy the camping experiance,

But I'm tempted to fly down next week with just my son (8 years old) for the main race event.

Hotels are too far away, and CBA to set up a camp for the one night.

Has anyone paid for Expo parking and slept in their cars? Do they monitor it/throw you out if caught?

I think you will be fine.

Panoramic have vans and cars with canopies that people sleep under. Go for it.

A couple of years ago I slept in the car with my 12 yr old son, definitely doable for one night. We had an air mattress in the back of an estate. I would suggest parling in one of the cow sheds if possible. Especially if the car has a glass roof. Also there are toilets in the car park

Thanks, I’ll be in an EV so it can maintain a set temp thankfully

Parking in a cow shed? How’s that work?

Think expo is tarmac anyway
