Just wondering how busy the Museum gets on the Thursday?

I think it gets busier the closer you get to the start of the race, so Thursday would be a good day to go.

wasn't busy at all Thursday last year

Thursday should be fine, the one thing i would say is there's no A/C, so if its a very hot day, go early before it turns into an oven.
