Bridge / road closures Beaumont sur Sarthe
Discussion
Article in local paper which will affect anyone using the old road.
The bridge at Beaumont sur Sarthe is due urgent repairs.
No mention of alternative routes or diversions.
Reading the article it looks like traffic lights for the 24 Hours but closed for the Classic.
I've attached a translation of the article.

How can 9,000 vehicles, including nearly 1,000 heavy goods vehicles, be made to disappear every day? By cutting off a bridge, in this case the one at Beaumont-sur-Sarthe (straddling the commune of Maresché) on the RD 338, which spans the Sarthe River. This weakened viaduct, which connects Le Mans to Alençon via the former national road, is due to undergo major works, scheduled from June 2 to September 30. The structure will be closed for eight weeks this summer, from July 7 to 29.
