Tommorrow is the 11th June, which is the actual 70th anniversary, I wonder if there will be a cermony to mark this sad event, I,m travelling over tomorrow, but at some point I will go to the spot and pay my respects

If there is it’ll likely be very low key and not publicised, it wasn’t marked in any significant way in 2005 or 2015

A French documentary on the matter has just been released. BAsed on the impression I got from it, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the ACO to do anything close to (at least to my eyes) "appropriate".

There was a low key ceremony in 2015



The flowers remained by the memorial plaque (which is only visible from the track) throughout the race.
