Thursday evening @ 7pm at the Tetre Rouge bar at the top of the mulsanne straight.


Wear something pistonheadish so that everyone can identify each other. Its the only way I can think of, unless we trade mobile numbers.

S1MON. The bar is on the road called:

Chemin Aux Boeufs

This is the road that takes you into Houx Annex from the N138. Positioned right at the start of the Mulsanne straight by Terte Rouge corner. To get there from the inner camp sites make your way to the ticket booth/entry to T.Rouge at the top right hand corner of the circuit. Walk under the Mulsanne straight et voila.

If you go to T.Rouge corner and stand on the grass bank as far over to the right hand side/start of the Mulsanne as possible you will see the bar on the other side of the circuit. It's covered in Stella Artois signs - YUM, YUM, STELLA - sorry got carried away for a moment.

NB. you cannot view the race from here. It's boarded up during race weekend for obvious reasons.

Has anyone actually confirmed that the bar is still there ?

I was under the impression it was being flattened as part of the ongoing constuction work for the new stadium, tram lines and change of the tetre rouge corner. This may not be until 2007 though.

I might find that, but if I don't then I'll have walked a long way from SpeedChills to find there's no TV and possibly no bar!!!!

Will be gutted if it has been knocked down though, I got my 18th wind in there on the Sunday afternoon last year!

Could you please give me directions if i were to stand with my back to houx annexe and THE roundabout in front of me, do i turn to my left and follow up that road, or is it straight across towords the dome thing?

with the campsite behind you and the rndabout infront of you look left and follow the road all the way out of the circuit. Walk under the track through a short tunnel/under pass and it's on the immediate left. Its a five minute walk if that.

Just got a Pistonheads sticker but quite small but it will be on my car somewhere

As a thought, do you use the Exige as an every day car? if so what they like to live with?
Thinking of changing later in the year not sure what to yet though.
