I have about 2mm before the guide nobble thing on my tires that tells you you have to change tires, was thinking of driving very slowly everywhere and trying to get to lemans on them also for some rear end round about action

I was thinking to use the tires till lemans then have them replaced whilst in france (or germany since we are going the ring afterwards for a week)

does anyone know the legal limit for tires in france?

or if cut slicks are a no no (since one of the guys in our group has cut slicks)

thanks in advance.

E-mailed a mate who lives in France, he reckons "no abnormalities" whatever that means.

The actual limit according to the michelin france website is 1.6 mm

"La profondeur des sculptures doit être supérieure à 1,6 mm" so you have plenty of tyresmoke left.

yeah, like that's going to happen

checked my rear boots last night and was too wondering whether there's enough tread for the tour. Will take a gamble and if I have to will buy a new set over there AFTER lapping at the 'ring

Don't even pretend you'll be doing any sleeping (or washing)
