I heard mixed things about it, what do you reckon? Is it worth going? is it best to get drunk first? Oh yeah, also, where the hell is it?

In previous years it has been just to the north side of the Dunlop bridge or on the inside of the circuit between the Esses and the Dunlop bridge. You wont miss it. Always a laugh after a belly full. If you're walking the top part of the circuit you wont miss it.

You,d have to be very very pissed to miss it! The massive big wheel kinda gives you a clue Well worth going on at night! You can see the cars a long way off!

i think in the last 5 or so years the fun fair as become rubbish, that gypo feel to it has now gone along with the more interesting shows,i will be heading to arnage village roundabout where things seem to kick of in a typical brit fashion, beer ,tyre smoke etc.cant wait to go just the camping bit thats sucks.

I found the adrenalin rides worth a visit..but best if you're not totally blotto at the time!

Don't bother taking note of 'Bah humbug negative' threads , just go along and have look for yourself...

Fairground may not be what it used to (I particularly miss the bungy and the choice of interesing stage shows in darkened HGV trailers..) but still worth a visit. Recommend full inebriation unless you are naturally an extreme sports type - most of the more interesting rides now seem to involve aerial acrobatics of some sort. Shame its so spread out though.

The view from the big swingy thing was awesome - just before you pull the cord and enter freefall. Quite surreal at 3am watching the cars hammer past. Helped being pissed as a fart.

So it seems "totally blotto" worked for you then!
