I have to admit to not knowing where the "in-famous" Le-Mans roundabout is for watching the usual night time driving antics of a few nutters? And how to get to it from Houx Annex?
I seem to miss you on watching the action with a few beers and fancy getting along this year.

S1mon.

It's marked on the map posted in the thread about the convoy on friday morning.
You can't miss it, and a must be viewed if going to le mans experiance.

Alternatively you could stand in the middle.

I was there last year and felt very safe. God knows why though, probably the excessive warm beer.

Never been in the middle. I'm thinking about pitching a chair and sticking around this year though!

You know though that if a car is going to spin, its going to wipe out some people on the outside of the roundabout. Very safe in the middle. And you can see more of whats going on. The best spots seem to be in the middle, facing the houx annexe.

Not if you don't turn around following the cars! Just wait for them to come around.

All these comedy things you've been putting on here Tom, I'm quite looking forward to meeting you!

We were there last year. There's only so many times you can watch a Type R nearly crash into the crowd.
The skill level is very low compared to the bike lot ( rider and pillion both knee down, 3rd gear rolling burnouts ).

IIRC things get properly going at about 7.30-8 ish and start to calm down around 11-12.

Will be down there from about 7pm or so to set up camp (and watch my friends get drunk )

Can we look forward to a lap of honour from you?

I would love to, but to be very honest with so many people crowded around I,d be shite scared of wiping out and flattening anyone in the way. I know this sounds a bit limp but the Viper is a handful at the best of times, but to let rip in that area is gonna be a bad move.Quite happy to do a burn out on a straight bit of road though! plus I don,t think I could get it sideways and hold it!

Oh I can imagine what the viper is like. No name dropping here, but a certain friend of mine (whos coming this year) hired a viper in Vegas and had an 'incident'. Wouldnt want to see that happen in a crowded place.

Dont be tempted to do it at the Friday morning PH meet at indy/arnage either unless you want to pay for the privelage!
