Me too, but not just the missus but the daughter and her boyfriend. It's the same with every event I go too and I wouldn't have it any other way

My Wife,s a total loon when it comes to cars (it was the misses that decided the Venom needed N.O.S and the wife that managed to almost total the Venom at the end of Elivington runway after clocking and indicated 190mph and then asked if it would be dangerous to try for 200!), more so when it comes to Le-Mans, total bonkers wife when it comes to anything powered by fuel!We have to share the driving ALL THE TIME! the trip down will be a case of driver swapping the whole way, last time we were in a convoy to a supercar day and I wouldn,t stop, she overtook after much light flashing and hand signals...which I never saw, honest! Got past, cut me up and directed me into a layby for a driver change!
One year a Le-Mans she decided we MUST view from the fast Indi straight, after following her across fields, barbed wire fences and dodging the cops we made it to the armco barriers. The wife is likes nothing better than watching the racing in the early hours with a few beers! And before you ask she,s just under 6 ft and blond! Not a fat hairy chinned lass!
The plus point is that I can spend lots of £££££ on engine/power mods and as long as her 1/4 mile times improve she,s quite happy! (And yes...she,s driven the Venom fast than me!)

No chance of a Le-Mans without the wife!! I kid you not!

I'm taking my other half.

Thankfully he is OK with camping and stuff and will help out with the BBQ and pushing the shopping trolley full of beers & wine round the Carrefour.

He does tend to find it a bit hard going tho and missed out on the Mulsanne corner at 6 am on the Sunday last year as he needed to get back to the camp for a kip.

But he is very good - he didn't complain all weekend.

As we're not camping this year (nice cottage nearby) my significantly better-half has decided to come along. Actually quite looking forward to seeing how she copes with the noise and hopeing she'll enjoy the atmosphere.

I'm taking my girlfriend this year. She is a proper car nut, and last year my birthday present was tickets for me and her to go to le mans. P.S. Tickets came in the post today - woo hoo! It's only a month now before we set off, can't wait

Well my wife is coming as well. We both went last year for the first time and had a blast!

To be honest I think she will probably watch more of the race than I will as she seems to quite enjoy it - me I am just going for the beer and the chatting..........race? What race?

Ultimatly I love my wife and I love the fact she is coming with me, wouldn't have it any other way!! Whoops sorry I'll stop being so soft now and go and rev my V8!!

Mine was desparate to come along from the very start but I kept telling her "I'll sort it out soon hunny." Luckily 'soon' became such a long length of time that there were no tickets left and she found something else to do that weekend. She is mad into cars though and next year she'll be along, new Scooby in tow

I am, along with the other chap I'm going with. Second time taking her for him but first for me.

Also got the girlfriend of the No.2 Mechanic for one of the AMR cars with us. She's gonna love it in the back of a Supra or Cerbera.... :augh:

My wife and my Mum have been going for the last four or five years, I love having the wife there as she really enjoys it. Its great having my Mum there too as she gets to look after her little boy and make sure he eats well

I usually take two chaps with me to the race who look on enviously as I walk straight into the loos and don't have to queue. The only problem with them is they do seem to want to get some sleep during the night and drag me off to the car park for a kip when we should be watching the cars. They are useful for carrying the booze though.

My wife is coming along also. Thought Pistonfest 2006 would put her off the camping thing for good, but alas she got that that pissed she didn't mind one bit. Both looking forward to it, see you on the Houx site.

Taking my son to the 'real' Le Mans as we have been going together since he was 9 years old, and he is now 22. This is a 'boys' weekend! (Oh god, I'm in trouble now)
Taking 'her indoors' to the classic again this year. She doesn't 'do camping' anymore, and is only going because we are staying in a shat-oh.

Not hard core then? I have to put up with the wife telling me what see can hear going down the Mulsanne at 3am in the morning, plus a running description of what gear or what chicane there coming out of.The Corvettes seem to be her fav as she,ll listen from the tent and let me know how many are running and when one,s pitting! Bonker`s woman...I just hope she doen`t plan some army style exercise to the Mulsanne straight this year, last time I fell into a stream at about 2am after crossing various fields ,whislt climbing a wire fence and called time on the whole project!Took us 2 hours to get back to the tent on foot! Flamming madness!...but I have noticed her checking out maps of the eastern side of Mulsanne and this doesn`t bode well. I can`t face another Sunday morning in wet clothes!Someone help me out!....please?
