Hi Dave,
I am interested in your spare camping ticket for tetre rouge, Ive not been to Le Mans for many years but it used to be that the actual spaces were on a first come first served basis, is this still the case do you know as im not likely to arrive until the friday, and want to make sure there is acutally some room left to camp....

As far as I know, the only campsite with pre-reserved spaces is Houx, everywhere else is every man for himself including Tertre Rouge.
If you have a motorhome and a huge marquee then by Friday you'll be stuffed, if you turn up in a Nissan Micra and sleep in a bivi bag you could probably squeeze in anywhere.
Most people will usually budge up a bit or shift cars about to allow you to set up camp, (helps if you have a nice car) but it is a case of 'first come, first served'.
The choice, as they say, is yours.
