Hi,

Just thrown together a group of 6 virgins to go to Le Mans this year and on to the Loire afterwards for a vinyard mission. All very last minute but delighted that the missus has agreed!

I've got tickets on Ebay for Maison Blanche and was well chuffed with the price, the only problem is that we can't get there til the Saturday morning. Are we going to have a hope in hell's chance of finding a spot for a VW Transporter/Beer-bus?

And what would be the going rate to ask someone to reserve a spot til this late stage?! Anybody? Please...!

From my limited experience (1st year last year) the campsites tend to fill up Thursday!

Also I understand it can be quite tricky getting to the Circuit on the Saturday due to the traffic!

Sorry thats all a bit negative!

A crate of beers may buy you some space on the campsite!

I'd be more than happy to help replenish beer stocks! I will take supermarche orders by text from anyone who can save a wee spot? I've experienced the Saturday queues myself before - not nice I know but needs must!

To be honest by Saturday on MB it's difficult enough to park your own car let alone have space for extras. Hope you sort something out.

Look out for a camping spot at Le Houx. This is allocated and your pitch will be unmolested even that late in the day.

Ebay or advertise here. Make sure you look out for Houx and NOT Houx annexe.

You can always find space up at Mulsanne and it's a great place to spend the night. Be prepared for queues though and avoid hordes of drunken Brits in the road!

Fonters,

I will be camping in MB with a few friends. I can't make any promises but will see what I can do. I bet Le Frogs will try to cram us in like sardines.

I will be there from Wednesday or Thursday so might have a chance. You won't miss me as I will be very Orange!!

Ignore that Gefopsman bloke, you can't trust him. If you've got 6 virgins I'll happily make room in my tent - they are female aren't they?!

On a slightly more serious note I arrived at MB at about 5pm last year and it was pretty full then. By early Sat am there might be the odd space but your group will be spread out a bit - afterall, surely they wouldn't sell more tickets than the site could cater for....

Now I know that Longers wouldn't have the energy for 6 virgins so I think it only reasonable that I offer to share the burden!!
