Please give a friendly wave to those P/Headers not in their usual hot motors on their way to Le Mans.
We have been using, for the last four years, our rusty, orange '89 "Window Lickers" Transit Mini-Bus. It will be taking six of us this year with the genny and fridge freezer. Along with marquee and tents etc.
The old girl has plenty of heart but not a lot of muscle!
If you see it on the way down, Thurs morn, Dover to Calais,Give us a wave and we will give you a cold beer or two. We plan to have the genny running whilst tied to the back of the bus to keep the beers cold in the fridge.
The bus will have the PistonHeads Le Mans stickers on, maybe a flag flying as well.
Enjoy the racing, beer and football, not necessary in that order.
Oh, and Tetre Rouge Bar Thursday night.

I'm with you on this one. We've squeezed 4 into a '70 VW bus. Although she's running a mild performance 1776 with twin Webers, 4 up with a full load I'm not sure she'll be flying as well as usual. Give us a wave as you pass for the camera. 8.28am tunnel out on Thurs so may see you en-route!

Were be happy to give some of the slower "Pistonhead Massive" a big when we pass! I just hope the shock wave doesn`t effect any beer cooling devices!

Hows an 86 Mini sound? Fast! yer right, with a 1275cc it'll accelerate quick, but thats about it, and the noise!!!!

I took a 998cc Nissan Micra last year! Oh the joys of pure Flinstones driving and barely enough power to pull the skin off a rice pudding! The drive is still really entertaining and I would do it again in the slow car
