What does one dial in an emergancy?

Yeah you can dial 112 to get through to the emergency service from a landline or a mobile, or from a landline you can dial 17 for police, 18 for firecrew, and 15 for ambulances. Well that's how it was before I came living here, I can't see it being much different.

Thinking about 112 is a european number I think. Works over here too doesn't it?

999 is going it will be 112 all over Europe (eventually). 999 to easy to dial from a mobile etc.

you know 112 even works with no sim, and even works when the keypad is locked
