... just picking up on something on Club arnage but it was something that really struck a chord with me...

with all the thousands upon thousands of beer bottles etc that the campsites must get through isnt it logical that we should have bottle banks available for folk to deposit said bottles in to....

just think how much it would reduce the rubbish problem by freeing up the bins!

Discuss.

If we deposit the dead carcasses into a BB, how would we build out bottle walls/mountains??

Make your mountain, then clear it up and take it to a bottle skip when you leave - our lot would certainly be up for that. Would mean less stray glass to cut your feet on the following year and I can't even begin to imagine the quantity of glass that it would recycle...if only they'd spend a little of the fortune they make on simple things like this.

Some absolute savage knocked over our beermountain on Sunday night when we went off for Food.

I went to a point, was doubled thickness and was 26 bottles wide at the bottom. I never even saw it completed as I was already having food.

If I found out who did it they were going to get all of the empty bottles shoved somewhere not very pleasant by a bribed french gypo in the morning.

dont, I found it heartbreaking to see so much that could be recycled, my b/F just kept telling me to turn a blind eye!

brilliant idea.

though suspect the glass colours would end up being mixed...

Spent most of the week trying to restrain the Recycling Officer for a large City Council from trying to take 50,000 beer bottle mountains home with her in the boot of her Chim!
