A big hello to all PH members and a big thank you to all of you who came up for a chat/took photos/flashed/hooted/waved/etc etc at Le Mans this year. My new purple Mosler seemed to go down well with everyone. It was completed just in time for the trip so Le Mans was its first outing and I loved every minute of it. Taking part in the supercar parade through the town centre on Friday with the crowd lining the streets was simply sensational, an experience to last a lifetime! It was my 14th trip to the greatest weekend in the calendar and I will definitely be back for No.15 next year!!
There are always plenty of different groups and clubs at Le Mans in trademark livery but I just couldn't believe how many PistonHeads T-Shirts and logos were around this year. What a testament to the strength of this forum and its members so I thought I just had to get involved. Expect to see me and the Mosler around at various events and I look forward to getting to know as many of you as possible. If those who took photos or videos could drop me an email or post them that would be fantastic. The efforts to which some of you went to take pictures was ingenious and sometimes downright crazy, especially on the move, but that's all part of the fun! As soon as I find out how to insert photos I will post some of my own.
Cheers. David

Great car Willo M900 . My mate saw you and asked what it was - must be honest , only the plate gave me a clue - never seen one on the road before !
We were also in Houx Annexe , saw you there and also in the drivers parade on Friday . We were in my mates Corvette (1978 Black and Silver Indy 500 pace car ) Did you see us ??
The parade was a fantastic thing to be involved in , we loved it and i think the crowd loved the Corvette getting a bit vocal !!
We also did a lap of the track on Saturday at lunchtime with 40 other Corvettes led by Luc Alphand - awesome .

I put 68.9L into a 70L tank! I haven't worked out what the consumption is yet but I guess that would have been good for 4 or 5 miles!!A bit too close for comfort that one, I was beginning to wonder if I would have enough to get up the slip road to the pumps! Still, I reckon there would have been enough PHers on hand to help. I dread to think what would have happened if I had spent a few more minutes in some of those queues in the various roadworks!
