Tunnel Routes?
Discussion
from the Linky:
"Express chronology of work
January: making the new span of 40 meters in Belgium
February: the damaged portion of 40 meters from the bridge will be removed and placed on a barge
April: another barge will bring new span from Belgium into the Petit-Couronne workshops for assembly
June: the span of 115 meters from Mathilde Bridge will be restored
July: repaving
August: Mathilde bridge should be returned to service"
How can it have taken so long to get the new span into construction?

A Bridge Too Far:
Radio Operator: Yes, sir. Uh, we just got word from the 82nd up ahead. They captured the Graves bridge completely intact!
Col. Robert Stout: Aw, that's terrific. Except XXXth Corps ain't about to reach the godam intact Graves bridge until the godam Son bridge gets fixed. Tell our British cousins to hustle up some Bailey stuff!
