Moving on from a Type R FK2
Discussion
So, I had a Type R itch and scratched it with a lovely 2016 FK2. Having spent 2 years using it as a daily (albeit under 3,000 miles per year), and thoroughly enjoying it, it's time to maybe move on. Don't get me wrong, it's the best all rounder I've ever had, but it's a bit brash and harsh.
I'm central London based, no commuting, love a car with character and soul, and need something with a bit of power and great handling
It's not quite a second car,but we do have a family Lexus. So even though I'm not adverse to a 2 seater, a 4 seater would be better.
I've owned interesting cars like zagato fulvias, Alfa Giulia 105, right through to a couple of 156 Gta's and an Abarth.
So, where do I go from here? I'll have a cash budget of £24,000.
A more refined and equally amazing all rounder like the later FK8?
An Alfa Giulia Veloce (with the QF wheels of course)
Borrow some cash and get an actual quadrifoglio?
Everyone talks about character and soul, but having owned some really charismatic motors, that's going to be high on my list.

RC F, hard to find at your price point but they're a cracking car & they do get under your skin over time:

Veloce Ti is a very good option:

Test drive an XE S, they're a good steer & a sweet drivetrain. Rear legroom is a little tight:
