Do warped discs show only at high speed?
Discussion
Just curious. Think, I may have, potentially, broken the speed limit in my car (on a track, of course), and noticed brakes judder significantly at high speed (say over 100). Don't at low speed. Is this indicative of some warping of the discs? Car has just come back from the first service, so wondered if they would have picked this up if it were an issue. I supposed it's impossible to tel ljust by looking. Any ideas, anyone?

"brakes judder" - how are you feeling this? Is the wheel vibrating (fronts problem usually) or is the brake pedal pulsating? (rear problem usually)
Have the wheels checked for play (balljoint/hub nut) - I've had the symptom of a warped disc and it wasn't. Unless you are doing track days or lots of very hard braking, I doubt you will have a warped disc. Also check the pads for uneven or odd wear.
