I am looking to re trim the 3 padded parts of the dash .The small pad just to the right of the centre console is easy you can feel the "Christmas tree" fasteners underneath.

What's the best way to remove the other two . Does the one on the front of the dash passenger side just pull off and if so does it give access to the one on the top of the dash passenger side or does the radio have to come out?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I don't know for sure but I'd guess they all have Christmas trees, the small one to the side of the cluster on driver's side definitely does.

The 3 on dash are all Christmas trees. So stop being a tart and give it a yank

The hardest one is passenger side on top. Think it's a ally plate with the trees on. So fills like it bends a bit.

Do the trees stay in place or do you have to get under the dash to restore?

If they've never been off they can be buggers to remove. Be extremely careful when they finally detach - windscreens have been known to crack.

center is held on by 4 nuts one in each corner. studs captive in pad. there are 2 hedgehogs around center. nuts access from 2 panels underneath- you have to do them by feel as all the pipes are in way. knee pads also held by nuts on captive studs. this is 3r and 3. not sure about the 2.5 with hard surround.
