Hi All

Well I have now spent the best part of a month buried up to my neck in Westfield kit car spec and information. I can happily say I am now considerably wiser on the subject (but still learning) and that contrary to popular belief considerably few of you are large bespectacled bearded gentlemen. (Not a problem if you are :).

I have now come to the point of buying my first car of this kind. In general I am looking for a fast road car but one that’s capable of a few track days over the summer. I would prefer the car to be as nicely sorted as possible with either a Vauxhall or newer ford engine etc. I would consider paying around £7K going a little higher or lower depending on spec / work needed doing etc. So if any of you know of any nice examples, friends selling etc I would be grateful for any information.

Have a Look at the For sale section on the westfield club web site. Lots of nice cars around at the moment,

Check the classifieds on this website (If you haven't done so already) as there's a few good 'uns knocking about.

Open to offers on my 1986 Caterham if you are interested? X-flow is an old-school lump but makes lovely noises..

Lurking in the PH classifieds if you need more info (or if link does not work).
