It nothing special, just a new version of the LA Racecorp, which used to be around many moons ago.I guess Mr Filby of Which'ever' kit mag bought the rights etc and has asked someone to build it.They looked a bit different to the usual 7 clones, but although a friend bought one once, never stirred me into getting one.I would look towards a more 'stable' mainstream kitcar if you were looking to build one,as this has been promised to be ressurected, like Christ at Easter time.Tigers and MK do decent cars for the same sort of possible build money and there in production.

As far as I know, that car is not a Razer, just a bit of back handers probably and using the old LA chassis. There is a lot of promises for a car to appear, but not in volume.

Interesting - what do you think would be a winning car in this series?

If it's the car driven by Matt Lewis, it's a new version of the Eldon Roadster that he used to race, and has a Rover V8 up front.

Cars that have done well over the last few years have been:

Sylva (Striker and Phoenix)
Westfield
Dax Rush V8
Atlas Taydec
Procomp LA Gold

Are you think of joining us next year?

Not really - the class B cars (1800 Zetecs) are pretty close to the V8s at most circuits - check out the laptimes here.

Andy Stirling and Matt Lewis are the only two front running cars with V8s, and have been beaten by class B cars at some circuits like Brands and Donington.

I've been racing in this series on and off for about 10 years now, and am on the committee, so if you do want any more info then drop me a mail.

It seems at some circuits the qualie lap is OK with a B car but they don't race so well - I guess it just is too easy to pass with a V8?

Onw question - are the drivers good or is that the v8 drivers better or not and its just the v8 car is the way to go?

Depends on the circuit - the V8s are quicker in a straight line, but not so good round the corners as they have a higher weight limit (680kg vs 535kg).

Both Matt and Andy have been racing in kits for quite a while, and are pretty handy behind the wheel, but quite a few of the other drivers are not so experienced or quick.
