aeroscreens ???
Discussion
You get used to it...first time you drive with aeroscreens, it feels like your eyelids are trying to turn inside out. I'm now perfectly happy at 130 plus with just sunglasses, though it has to be said that after nearly 20 years driving 'Seven' type cars I'm now as deaf as a post.
Rain is unpleasant - all-in-one waterproofs and a full face helmet is the answer.
Bumble bees and stones throw up by lorries aren't much fun, either, but fortunately they are few and far between.

How fast can you happly go wearing shades rather than a helmet ?
that for a game of soldiers.gobber man said:If you have waterproofs and a full face helmet it's absolutely fine.
How bad is it rain and c*appy weather ?
I've had a westfield with a full screen and now have one with an aeroscreen and I much prefer the aeroscreen. I couldn't drive the screened car without the sidescreens because the buffeting was so bad without them so would rather simply don the lid and get rid of the lot. The car will go faster and you'll get buffeted a lot less and you're less likely to go deaf.
I don't have an aero screen, most of them seem to channel the air at your head at a certain speed.
With sun glasses I can do 50mph but not long distance, with close fitting wrap around glasses I can to 70mph and longer distance.
I use Oakley Ski goggles and can do 120mph with those and long distance, usual summer wear.
I only use a helmet when it's raining (rain stings at 60mph !) or I'm going a long distance and need a quieter journey.
The freedom you feel at 100mph at dusk with nothing but a tee shirt and sunglasses is very nice
