V8 Raw Striker?

Yeah, it has been done, not often though.
I tried to do a search cos Im sure one came up in Classified's recently, at least in the last year or so, might have been yellow ??? (colour doesnt help I know)
Also found an archive advert in scoobynet archive for a guy there called "craig r" who was seeling one in 08/04.

As above. It's been done several times, to my knowledge.
It doesn't work very well, though - the engine is way too big and bulky and its mass and torque ruin the balance of the Striker (which kind of defeats the object of course, this being the car's strongest point). The ones I've seen have chassis mods around the transmission tunnel and front bulkhead, in order to get the weight as far back as possible, which make the pedal box area very cramped.
