Kit-car friendly MOT station
Discussion
I think I know what he means! My favourite place (in Suffolk) does MOTs to the book (i.e. not 'bent') but is very happy to deal with my kit car, and spends most of the session talking about it!
He particularly likes the ease with which he can check the front suspension - he raises the car a couple of feet, then reaches down over the wheel to do his tests - no bending under a grubby car wing.

I know what he means. There are a number of MOT stations that wouldn't know what a kit car was and would need to refer to the 'book' all the time. Finding a kit friendly tester is a good idea maybe a an opportunity for a 'sticky' list.
Don't live in the OP area so cant help him but I can recommend a kit/modified car friendly tester down here in Somerset.
