Help needed - Westfield SE brake caliper bracket
Discussion
Hi team - I've had a big brake binding problem on my Westie SE purchased a few months ago. Today the rears bound on and the bracket holding the calipers to the axel has snapped.
It looks like a bespoke piece, anyone have any ideas where I can get a new one?
Also need a handbrake bracket as in the pics.
Sorry if stupid questions, mechanical bits aren't my forte!

An SE (i.e. live axle rather than independent suspension) would only ever have had drums on the rear rather than discs, so whatever you have there is either an aftermarket kit or something home brewed.
What he said. It appears to be live axle from the pictures.Given that the bracket has broken, I'd suggest it is home brewed and the whole lot should be binned off to be safe.
Plenty of aftermarket parts out there to help.
This is a full kit of bits, there are a few sources of similar and I'd think someone ought to be happy to sell the brackets alone

Or as said, to avoid issues of brackets not being identical or having to replace the whole lot, remove the other one and get it copied.
I've used the services of a machinist via eBay before to send a drawing and get parts laser cut, if you don't know of a friendly machine shop near you.
