I saw one for sale a couple of decades ago in kit car magazine.

It wasn’t too much back then, looked OK proportion wise.

Had the Renault engine as you say.

A couple of firms have looked to bring it back as a kit but that went pretty quiet. Always thought a revised body might hang well over a Boxter frame / underpinnings?

One sold here recently but with hindsight they aren’t as accurate as I remember. Who would have seen the real thing anyway to compare it to?

Just seen Tribute are making a Miura body to fit a Lotus Elite chassis (yes its FWD) but that mean bodies are available again even if not a complete replica, and you may be able to make your own chassis.

I thought that the only FWD Lotus was the G2 Elan?

He probably meant front engined. Ithought it weird when I saw it.
