Crossflow on kehein bike carbs

Recently aquired a nice set of bike carbs for my Formula 27 with a 1600 xflow.
I have stripped them down, cleaned & checked them and everything seems fine.
They were new from Danst Engineering in October last year.

They run on a bike fuel pump that came with the carbs and the carbs are getting fuel.
Trouble is, it won't start. It does with easy start down the intake but dies out after.
I am thinking there is not enough vacuum to suck the fuel in.

Anyone with any ideas on this?
I'm not too clued up on bike carbs.

Try using the choke. Mine won't start from cold at all without using it. Once warm its fine.
I have Blade 900 carbs on a 1640 crossflow. Aside from the above to start it they are brilliant. Been on over 10 years and totally reliable
