Griffith 200 for sale

Spotted this on finecars.

"This car was built in USA by Griffith Motors and imported to Europe by an Italian racer in the late 90s.
It was then race prepared for vintage racing, the engine is a fresh 289 built to race specifications."

After I posted the pic, I noticed the fuel pump and various pipes in the interior. As far as I know, there are a number of sanctioning bodies that would frown on this design. Could easily be down to my misinterpretation of the rules, though.
