Hi All,

I’m currently rebuild a 3000m for a friend and the exhaust headers are dead and unusable. I’m looking for replacements and can find a few stainless options but they are pricey. I have seen a YouTube video with a guy who bought new mild steel versions, any idea where I can get the mild steel ones?

I left a comment on his video but he hasn’t replied yet.

Cheers.

Oh how we laughed rolleyes

I would imagine the majority of the cost is in the labour so wouldn't expect, if they are available, mild steel to be much cheaper than stainless?

Spend the cash, and do it right smile

Thanks but not helpful.

Is Mike the pipe still going? He only used to work in mild steel back in the day.

If it’s a toy that’s going to be garaged over winter, stainless is a no brainier. Salt and manifold temperatures will cause cracking.
