Tvr taimar

New to tvr just got a taimar with essex v6 it has a noise coming from the front that increases with engine speed. Thought it might be water pump so ran it briefly with fan belt off same noise are the cam gears none to make noise. Cheers sean.

If the original fibre cam gear has been replaced with a metal one they can be noisy (probably why Ford used a fibre gear).

As above it could have a steel/alloy cam gear. This is a fairly easy thing to find out as it can be see by simply removing the fuel pump.
