Hello there, I am looking for a spare brake fluid reservoir cap for my 78` Taimar. One of the sensor cables chipped off. Is it possible to solder the contact? Thanks for your help. Peter
Soldering could be tricky, unless it can be disassembled? Lots of plastic there to melt.
Mine isn't wired up, the terminals had been bent flat and snapped off as I tried to straighten them. I'm happy to physically check the level regularly.
I don't have a spare, but they were extensively used on Saab's, if you are lucky enough to find a NOS item even they have quite alot of yellow look to the plastic.
