Trying to trace an imported TVR into the US

Is there any way to find who, when and/or where a TVR was imported into the US? Any import records to search? I purchased my Chimaera from a dealer who had little to no info about the cars history, and he was the first to registered it in the US. I have the MOT info from the UK, but no import info. Thanks for any help or guidance.

Can you share details on here? Or try the FB group 'TVR Cars in USA'. I have been involved with many of the recent TVR imports in the USA and may know your car.

My Chimaera 400 is a '97, dark blue with a tan interior. I think it was imported to the US in Dec. 2023. It may have gone to Michigan because it had a battery replaced from an AutoZone there. It was never registered by the importer. It was originally advertised in the UK on Cars & Classics here https://www.carandclassic.com/l/C1655946 ( found the ad on line). It's last MOT was Oct 2023.

I posted to the FB group, let's see if anyone knows the car. What is it that you are hoping to find out? If it is registered already then usually you won't need to produce any import docs again. If you get a name of the importer then the entry summary can be found in the CBP database. It's a good-looking car!
