Monaco Historic GP Grandstand?
Discussion
I've only been to the Historique once - back in 2008 - but thoroughly enjoyed it. Just a great event.
Back then it was only a two day meeting so we took Casino Square for Saturday and Tribune K at Tabac on the Sunday. The great thing with K is that you look behind you and can see the cars heading along the pit straight behind you, then heading up to Massenet to your left and appearing out of the tunnel and all the way along into the Swimming Pool.
It's not like the Revival in the sense that you'll see lots of overtaking, but the noise and visual spectacle is enough to make it a very special experience.

It's not a very easy circuit to get around - the infrastructure is temporary so don't expect it to be akin to Oulton Park! It's simple enough to leave the 'stands to get an ice cream or use the toilet but getting from one corner to the next isn't the matter of a moment. The whole principality is really exciting all weekend though with amazing cars everywhere. We completely adored it - just a great weekend.
To give you a flavour.
Open paddock on the harbour front Friday afternoon:

View from Tabac Tribune K. Here Mauro Pane's Tyrrell P34 leads Paul Edwards' Penske PC3:

Martin Stretton in quali with a set of sticker tyres on. Magic.

The stands A1 and K1 are normally the first ones to sell out, they are easily accessible and considered the best. They are good for photo too.
Be aware Casino Square is a long way from the paddock area.
Wherever you chose to go make sure you have a view of the giant TV screens.
Bear in mind the access rules change by the day and sometimes by the individual on duty!
Enjoy, its a super weekend.
