I've got an RP30 which is very similar to an RP27, which in turn is the 2 litre version of an RP26 (I think..) anyway I rebuilt mine and took loads of photos before I took it apart so some of those could be useful? Let me know!
Thanks for the offer it would be great to see some pictures of the rear of to car so i can see how it all fitsMany thanks

I doudt there would be a manual. Would say a load photo's would be your best bet or have a look at a built up car. Also very jealous have gone through my head how I would build my own kent formula ford. Would be on the edge of the rule book. Just need one in bits and the time.
Last time I did that we got kicked out of scrutineering. The BRSCC tend to be extremely strict on FFord. More so than other categories. There are certain things you can do to release a couple more hp over the first couple of laps that can gain you a significant (in FFord terms) advantage.

Hi
I have recently bought an RP26 in half a dozen boxes. I think I have most of it,
but I have no idea how to put it back together. Is there a manual I can get to help.
Many thanks
Phil.
I've been looking for a project like this in boxes for a while. Well done you lucky sod!!I have recently bought an RP26 in half a dozen boxes. I think I have most of it,

I think Carnage on here has an historic FF so he may be able to help.
I do indeed have a HFF. Thanks John!
Re the Hawke, is it a DL2?
Re the Royale, I think it's a bit late for HFF but can be run in Classic FF and the regional series. I would try Alan Cornock on the link I posted above. I have only spoken to him once, re a mate's Royale S2000, but he was very helpful.

erm, it's a DL something. I reckon it started as a DL 12, then someone grafted the rear end of a DL 17 on.Re the Hawke, is it a DL2?

So it has outboard front suspension, but the magnesium rear beam holding the suspension together at the back. strange thing really. I have 95% of the specific parts for it. The rest is standard race car gubbins.

Interesting hybrid! I wonder if someone hill climbed it? Good luck with the project...
The only project I'll he doing with it is trying to sell it for a monkey.I was keen on restoring it at one point and even went as far as getting a genuine hewland mk9 maincase and side plates for it.
Other things have and will always prevent me from completing this one.

"Over recent years Alan has developed a large and successful race car sales business. This includes a brokerage service where cars are displayed in a proffessional environement and sold on a commision basis for the owner."Alan needs to spell check his site.

in response to your email finding it was pure luck, and I would rather not say what I paid for it.
