No Gary Anderson on BBC in 2014

Just discovered that Gary Anderson is not part of the BBC's presenting team for F1 2014.... apparently their choice, not his.

In a season with so many technical and regulatory changes this seems like a massive own goal by the BBC, with apparently no replacement for him, so no technical pundit at all.

A real shame I think, he was the best part of the BBC team for me.

I did check Eric, both using the search and by going back 3 pages in the subforum but nothing came up.

Thats a bit of a shame as frankly the BBC coverage is getting so st now and Anderson was one of the few knowledgable people on it. Eddie Jordan knows less about the cars than Ant & Dec in my view.
