So if you had one of these, what would you build spec wise?

The chaps on the Classic forum would probably be a better place to ask as several of them have just or are building at the moment cars of that ilk

That's exactly what it is, a PW 5000M. Started out as one of my projects but sold it on when I moved to Houston TX.

Potential to be a great finished car, the seller and i had negotiations recently and i would have snapped it up if it had a Challenge chassis.

In which case we'd have built it as a race car and fitted a full race AJP8 - i'd even decided on the name ... 4500M cloud9

Alas it has been bespoke built to be configured as a 5000M and as Brian J states , that's how it should be built IMHO.

Well previous owner had to try and recoupe his costs so sold a lot of bits separately. We chose to get the chassis and body and clean sheet the build spec.
We have a challenge chassis we could put the shell on but the wheel base is that of a T car not the 90".

So would make sense to use the new lwb chassis and tuscan running gear. Ajp8 sounds like a good choice of power plant. Assume we could race it in the challenge series when done?
Cheers, Phil.

You'd have to confirm with Reidy, but i dont see why not - It's TVR shaped with a TVR based chassis and an engine that has at least one of the following attributes ...

TVR manufactured*/used by*/inspired by*/USV8* hehe

In fact Invitation Class has seen MGBV8, Caterham R Series and the 2014 season will see a 380bhp ex GT Westfield with a JE Rover V8 - so there's always something new in the mix.

Best bet would be to talk to the guys that built the chassis about what suspension to use, jgr and brian
