The only thing I get tired of that is to do with him is the constant grilling he gets from DC and EJ.

Absolutely.. Personally I find DC a bit irritating. If he's not waving the Redbull flag, he's clearly living sour grapes against MS because he couldn't quite make the top grade himself.The only thing I get tired of that is to do with him is the constant grilling he gets from DC and EJ.
'Shooey' is the Dick Dastardly of F1 but I like that.
Half the commentary over the weekend seemed to be about at putting Schumacher down at every opportunity, it felt like some of the comments from DC were pre-planned, no other driver gets such harsh scrutiny.
Also they have started slating his past career performances, being such great racing legends themselves of course.

I do love how people are reading far too much in to what he said! He's not enjoying it at the moment because he's not winning BUT he clearly still believes that when he gets it right he will win.
Personally, I don't think that he will manage it but I still prefer having him on the grid than not.
Put it this way: If you were in the same position as him and Mercedes offered you a race seat during what is clearly your mid-life crisis you'd take it and anyone on here who say's "He should go..." sure as hell wouldn't if put in the same position!!!
One thing that I would like to address though it DC's blatant anti-Schumacher stance! It's almost as bad as his Pro-Red Bull stance just with a large amount of bitterness.
The MB and DC commentary is a massive improvement to this season but DC's snippy comments against all things Schumacher just about ruined the commentary for me. Yes he could have done things differently with Petrov (70-30 his fault imo) but as for his dice with Kob and Sutil he'd just come out of the pits and was on a 'warm up' lap when he was faced with those 2 drivers yet he's deemed to have lost his ability to battle wheel to wheel or as DC uttered something along the lines of "he was out in front in his heyday so maybe he didn't have to battle wheel to wheel that much!?!" What utter rubbish!!!
I know that a lot of people will enjoy that type of commentary but I personally hope that DC and MB learn from this weekend and don't ruin what is clearly a very good commentary team by becoming 'The b

I'm a big Schumacher fan, but....
Although, DC/MB are hardly racing legends in the same league as Schuey, they are now professional commentators. Therefore, they are as qualified to comment on a racing driver's performance as, say, the top Sunday Times Political Commentator on an MP's performance. The fact that DC/MB have done the driving job adds credibility, but a Jonathan Legard, Murray Walker or James Allen had just as much right to pass judgement, even though they hadn't driven F1.
I happen to agree with DC/MB's comments.
I wish Schuey could have turned his practice pace into qualifying pace and we might have seen a different result. Clearly the Mercedes is now a car capable of leading races and qualifying in the top 3. I'd love to see Schuey having a race like Rosberg did in China. But we have been waiting too long.....
OK, Korea, Turkey and Barcelona last year were impressive, but so many times (China 2010, Canada 2010, Hungary 2010, Turkey 2011) we see Schuey coming off second-best in desperate scraps. This has to change. I dearly hope he has a great run in Spain and Canada, otherwise I sense that we may get the German GP rebranded as 'Schuey's last race'. If I was Brawn/Haug, I'd be looking at plan B. Di Resta into Merc, Hulkenberg into Force India. And a dignified exit for Schumacher.
The only person that can stop this happening is Schuey, and I hope he can turn it around in the next three races.

Schumacher doesn't give up a place easy and it's 'He should know when to quit'
I can't remember who said this - but it's spot on.
Watching Schuey reminded me of a dawdling old man out on a Sunday drive.
It would of been a great story if he could come back and won a race. But he's not going to do.

I personally liked and agreed with Eddie Jordan's comments after the race.
Yes I know I can not stand Schumacher for so many different under hand cheating nasty reasons which I have voiced in other posts on this forum, but even I have to admit he was a talent. Not any more though he is not special any more he is turning into a journey man that so many drivers in the past have become when they stay to long in F1 at all costs. He is becoming a mobile chicane that Arnoux turned into and that is not right for some one that was so big in the sport. Sooner or later with his antics (please do not make me list them over the last 20 races they are numerous and we all know what they are) he is going to injure some one or hurt himself which I do not want to see either way.
He is not Dick Dastardly that was Senna vs "The Professor" vs "Il Leone" and I loved all three equally for different reasons.
He should try and enjoy Spain and Monaco then hang the helmet up. Then perhaps we could find another Kobayashi who is fab to watch and please do not compare his conduct with Schumacher the list of incidents will be longer than this forum.
Also Button and Hamilton proved yet again you can race and give each other room they are both a true credit to the sport but then they would be after all they are spitfires not messerschmitts.

When Schumacher finally goes who are we going to hate next, I am struggling to think of a replacement victim. Perhaps we will have to leave it for a couple of seasons until Vettel's arrogance finally boils over and then we can start over.
