Thanks for posting that. We seem to be firmly into the 2 day meeting these days.

Won't be doing this round, co-driver has fractured his ankle so won't be fit to race, hope to be at Spa however.

Good luck to all, and for those who haven't raced there, it's a quick one so ease yourselves in, it takes time to master it wink

Is that the same as cross dressing hehe

No, as I understand it, and this could be the subject of a touch of exaggeration, Jan found the only sidewalk pothole in Dubai during some light jogging exercise, but after some first class hospital treatment they arranged for a wheelchair and someone to push it.

Several hours later the pothole was repaired and a claim form arrived at his hotel to cover any costs he was subjected to. Can't see that happening here, one would probably still be waiting in A & E eek and the pavement would remain un-repaired for years.

Bloody unlucky to fracture his ankle, but one has got to be impressed by the subsequent service and the upgrade to a full hotel suite, 7 star, with hot and cold running maids !!!! smile

Entry list is now on the website - 26 cars, which is low by this years standards but more than 1 car missing for perfectly understandable reasons.

So, who is coming to the mecca of sportscar racing this weekend & who is going to Le Mans instead? wink

After missing the last round, I shall be there for Racing Exposure on the sunday. Although I'm not sure I like this two day approach that seems to be becoming the norm.

Race lasted barely more than an hour due to rain. It was my first time seeing Britcar so am a bit disappointed.

Glad we missed it, why did they cut the race length?

Relentless rain and lots of standingwater around the fastest parts of the circuit lead to too many incidents. About a third of the 70 odd mins raced was spent behind the safety car.

I understand that safety was at the centre of the decision, but its annoying when you're a spectator and nobody tells the commentator whats going on... so the race finishes and everyone stands around like lemons in the rain not knowing if anything else will happen today.

Still, of the hour I saw - Britcar's cool smile

I'd be happy to take the plaudits if id got in the car! Unfortunately the race was canned around the point where many people were making driver changes. I was about to get in when it was finished. Our other driver John took it from 12th to third.

Ah, well at least it was for a very understandable reason, sorry to hear that the race was a bit of a washout.

Absolutely! I'm never normally one for calling a race early, but it was definitely the right choice in my opinion! More of a look of relief on most peoples faces.

Yup, foul weather on sunday. I'd actually forgotten quite how bad it was until I was going through some photo's last night. A lot just completely unusable due to the spray.
