Got my Silverstone tickets this morning, means the weekend is getting closer

Who else ripped the envelope open like a starving monkey for a banana?

Ah, good to hear the tickets are arriving, mine haven't arrived just yet.
My OH has bought me 2 x 3 day Platinum camping tickets seated in Club as a birthday surprise, to say I can't wait is putting it mildly.

Looks like the podium is within sight of where I'm seated, I'll even get to see Vettel on the podium........

The Mrs and I are house sitting for some friends next weekend while they go off to Monaco...

They are eternally gratefull and may be able to get tickets and hospility for us for the British Grand Prix... but wont know for a couple of weeks.. the suspense is gonna kill me!

Mine tickets for Club arrived too.

Had a thing saying I had a recorded delivery letter to pick up from the PO. Couldn't for the life of me think what it could be. Was very pleased when I opened the envelope.

Whereabouts in Club are you two? I'm trying to think how big the stand might be, and where I'm sitting.

I'm in seats K206. Surely there can't be many more than 200 seats in a row? (I'm hoping I'm nearer the Pit straight end of the stand)

Is there a stand diagram somewhere?

Hey Paul your near me, I'M J219 to J222, I tried to get in the new pits straight stand but they had sold out, so i phoned and asked could i have my Club tickets as near to the pits straight stand as possible.

Hey Paul your near me, I'M J219 to J222, I tried to get in the new pits straight stand but they had sold out, so i phoned and asked could i have my Club tickets as near to the pits straight stand as possible.

It looks like the stand is quite curved, so the lower numbers may not see the pit straight at all.
I didn't ask for a particular end as I ordered online, but was hoping I'd be at the pit straight end. Looks like I've been lucky.

Aren't most campsites open as early as Wednesday (or before in some cases)? I'm at Whittlebury from Thursday afternoon.

Got myself a couple of 3 dayers for the new Club also. I asked to be nearer the old Club stands in the hope of seeing from Stowe all the way round and down the straight.

I picked mine up today, too. I'm as happy as a tick on a fat dog!!

Now I must remember where I put them...

Ours arrived last week, we'll be in E256/257 Club.

I'm guessing, based on the assumption that they are numbered from left to right I'll be near the end of the grandstand, somewhere on the "N" or "E", pretty happy with that if that's the case. Good view of them coming from Stowe into Vale, Club and then down the straight, also opposite the podium.

Would be handy to know where you're pitching it, dear boy I imagine there'll be a few tents in the area, that weekend.

I have just been looking into getting some tickets. My god are they expensive!! Is there any cheep ish option to watch it on the Sunday? I may just get a couple for the qualifiying as I dont fancy selling my kidney for a F1 ticket..
