Can Hamilton race?

Looking at where he is in the points standing, looking at the fact that he had to see the stewards in five out of the last six races (and not because he is black), and looking at his manouvers yesterday, I have some doubt.
One thing we know since yesterday: He can't overtake, but he can't stand behind either!

One of the most stupid posts I have ever seen. Widely regarded by most people who have ever watched a race as the best overtaker in the business bar none. Was yesterday your first race?

As Monaco GPs go, there have been a lot more processional ones than that over recent years.

Tbh I think they should develop a tyre that lasts a whole race, only have pit stops for wets if needed and let them battle it out. Like it used to be.

He was not at fault yesterday. The cars did turn in on him to cause an incident. The FIA has a long running and real issue with McLaren.
Hamilton and Alonso are the best all round drivers out there.

I agree with you, at first glance, the Massa one seemed to be his fault, but when you re-look at some of the stills posted on the other thread, it's obvious that Massa went wide, ut in early then out braked himself into the back of Webber.Hamilton and Alonso are the best all round drivers out there.
Again Pedro braked early and cut in on LH, look at PM's previous lines through the same corner.
F1 is getting to be a bit of a joke when someone tried to overtake and all the driver doing the overtaking has to do is cut in and cause an accident and it's the overtakers fault and they are penalised. Crazy.

Also, let's remember that with every attempt to overtake, there's a risk of contact. I'm willing to bet that LH is more likely to attempt a move than most other drivers, hence we will see the odd bump here and there.
Yesterday showed that he had the same ruthlessness that marked his idol and for that matter Schuey in his winning years.
Ayrton would see a gap and go for it and leave the other driver to sort out wether thay felt lucky or not.
He used to say if you dont want me to pass you, drive faster and would have watched Lewis race yesterday with satisfaction.

I have been following every single F1 race and many others since 1971, many of them at the circuit, and believe me Ihave seen many an idiot racing in F1.
Agressiveness doesn't win races and championships, and Hamilton's position in the oints standings shows exactly this. How can a professional loose his temper this way? He get's mad and looses his temper, and the others collect the points (apart from those he puts in the wall). What an immature kid!
