Bahrain wanting in now according to the BBC? Which circuit will miss this season if they are given the go ahead?

Why would they kick out a ready and waiting circuit to make way for Bahrain?

There would either be a calendar shuffle or it won't happen at all.

December 11th is the proposed date but the teams are deadset against it. Decision to made on/by Friday or it doesnt happen.

The Telegraph reported he may move India to December 4th and have Bahrain take India's slot in October.

Ecclestone is considering moving the Indian GP back to 11 December - or cancelling it - in order to accommodate the return of the Bahrain race to the calendar.

Agreed. Looks like the teams are going to have to race even against their will.

I'm in half a mind not to watch. Bahrain is a snooze fest as it is.

I'm pretty amazed by this to be quite honest. It's clear that no one wants the race to happen apart from the Bahrain government. My guess is Bernie's contract isn't quite as water-tight as usual and it was going to cost him a lot of cash. Not sure whether I'll watch this or not, but thinking not at the moment.

Next question, what will be the first race of next season?

What a joke. Not only should they not be going back to a place of such horrible violence, but India now lose out on their rightful place in the championship which they have undoubtably been working flat out to be ready for!

Plus it's an awful track.

Once again Bernie has proved to me that once again, wallets rule F1.

A disgrace and all involved in this decision should hold their heads in shame.

Even Spanky Mosley wanted nothing to do with this so what does that show us.

If they (the teams) are contractually obliged to go the maybe it's time for FOTA to show some clout. Send only the reserve drivers, no sponsor liveries on the cars, no hospitality suites etc etc. Just the minimum required.
