GT1 Championship at Silverstone the weekend
Discussion
Another going there for the warm up.
Last year I was Spa-Zolder-Le Mans, this year it's Silverstone then a trundle to the ferry to catch a late boat over the Channel, park up for the night one side or other of Rouen depending on energy and then arrive at the Welcome for noon on Monday

Also going up this weekend (see GT racing section) here
May have some Sunday tickets spare (2 I think) if anyone was planning to get one on the door so these will be a bit cheaper. £17 compared to £30 on door or £25 advance (may also have a parking pass as well....)

Has anybody any input on how you get to the new Wing Ding paddock area?? new bridge or tunnel somewhere maybe?? It's advertised as an "open paddock" so would be nice to get there.
Go over the bridge at the main entrance and instead of turning left as before, turn right. (The old paddock will still operational for the support races, with the supercar display being just infield from there.)wainy said:

At the moment I beleive I have 2 Sunday tickets (£17 - unused part of weekend ticket) and 2 car parking passes (not pit passes) which allow parking on Sat / Sunday (I think it is near the behind of the old pit straight) which were part of our hospitality but as we are camping at Whittlebury we wont need them.
The car parking would come with the Sunday ticket which would have to be picked up either Saturday in the circiut or Sunday.
