TalkSport - Prof. Sid Watkins talks Senna.

Not my cup of tea but a heads up for you Senna fans.

Richard Keys and Andy Gray have just had the former F1 doctor Professor Sid Watkins in the studio to talk about Ayrton Senna.

Sounded quite interesting.

Obviously finished now but they usually make interviews available on the website so it's worth checking there later on.

Thanks for that. Wouldn't have know about it otherwise. Just listened to it on the Talk Sport website.

Think his book will make great reading. He has been a huge influence in motorsport safety and has so many interesting stories I could listen to him for hours.

He's writtemn two books - both excellent.

"Life at the Limit" - I can highly reccomend , a fascinating read.

His books were borderline unreadable for me. I should have sensed this may be an issue when I was readily given one of them by an F1 nut. I got about two thirds of the way through and had to give up.

What was the problem? I thought they were informative and insightful.

His writing style made it very hard work for me.
