Wow. What a find.

I'm sure nobody on here has ever seen it before.

Well done you.

Let alone driven it - or been to the revival meetings.

Yep, really nice shot. To be honest I think the place has lost a bit of it's ghostly appeal since it got a paint job. Some things are best left alone IMO.

Well said Gad! But at least it encourages some "racing" back there.

I have a short video clip somewhere of my camcorder sitting on the central white line in the road, all is peacful until my bike-engined car comes out of nowhere at 130+ mph just inches away and blows the camera onto its side from the wind rush.. Cool as ( and quite naughty.. ) Daren't link it to PH as some saddo will take the piss or moan about the stupidity of it all blah blah b;ah. But its cool.

They run an event there in the Autumn, organised by the same people who've been working away restoring the buildings. Not a race but more of a trackday for all kinds of interesting stuff, on an approximation of the original road course.

Or for info on the event, go here: http://www.weea-organisation.com/ Definitely worth a visit, nice relaxed weekend and all open paddocks in a Festival-of-Speed style.

Cool photos, though Rouen, Linas-Montlhery or the old Clermont Ferrand would be better subjects perhaps?

Shame it is not used for historic racing today as it is so near to the UK.
