Yes, it is in and around Sherwood Forest - Last year one of the main spectator car parks was at Sherwood Pines visitor centre. There're brown signs on the A614(?) for this when in the vicinity of it.
Short for time at the minute - if no-one else posts I'll see what other info I can dig out.
Where will you be travelling from?

Google doesn't appear to be taking you to the exact location - probably a mile or so out.
In a nutshell:
M1 to J27
A608 (towards Mansfield)
A611/A60
A617
A614 (Old Rufford Rd) - Brown signs will be picked up on this road (near Rufford Park)
B6034
We now differ from Google
Left onto B6030 (Mansfield Rd) towards Old Clipstone. Entrance is on the left.
I believe the main staging and overnight area is Southwell Racecourse. Last year I think there were 3 or 4 venues for the different stages - they came to Sherwood Pines twice - 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. There was 1 off Longdale Lane, near Ravenshead and one near Calverton/Ramsdale Golf course. They're the only one's I can vaguely remember. I just stayed at Sherwood Pines. I have no idea if these locations will be the same this year.
A programme (£2-3) will be available soon (according to site but must be out now surely) - it contains all the locations and stage routes. Try and get one of these if you can, it will help. I struggled for routes/locations last year.

All the locations provided here are based on my experience of last years event and may have changed but I hope it serves as a general indication as to the area where the Dukeries rally has been staged.
I hope someone can post and tell you the exact locations this year.
I haven't given it the attention I normally do as I am unable to attend (shooting a wedding
instead)
Hope this helps,
Scott

Cheers very much. I'll need to hire a co-driver friend as my car is satnavless being so old. And I'd get lost in my bathroomIn a nutshell:

You'll be better off trying to get hold of the programme before it starts or on the day, as the course may have changed from last year. All the marshalls are friendly and if you don't get hold of a programme they will point you towards any goods bits of the course.
It was like this last year; good detailed course info is very hard to find, if at all, before it starts. Dunno why.
Hopefully a race entrant will post some course detail for ya.
FYI - the car park at Sherwood Pines was £3 all day last year (may have changed).

If you go to Sherwood Pines at Clipstone - the cars come through twice: 10;00 and 13:50. There's lots of places to watch and quite a few double junctions - however, if you're not a regular rally speccie, you're best to stick to the viewing areas.
It's a good event, the weather is normally warm, and it's very dusty.

I spent the day in Sherwood Pines. First time i've been there, what a superb venue!
Kenny Brack won the Historics, but he survived a huge moment right in front of me on Sherwood Pines 2. Photos to follow after Le Mans
Yeah I was there as well, my first time going to this Rally and it was well worth the 2 hour trip north. And the WRC focus and that 306 were mental! Kenny Brack won the Historics, but he survived a huge moment right in front of me on Sherwood Pines 2. Photos to follow after Le Mans

Photos from a cracking day out...
