Hamilton to Red Bull?

Heard a rumour on the radio this morning that Lewis was cosying up to Christian Horner at the weekend, dont really beleive much in these rumours to be honest, but I guess it would make sense. Lewis clearly is ultra competitive and wants to be in the best car, which Newey has produced for the last couple of years. Mark Webbers seats has looked a little dodgy for a while... Not sure I could see Vettel and Hamilton as team mates though...

Nah, I wouldn't think so, Jenson Button maybe his driven for a few teams, but Hamilton has been McLaren since he was 10 or something. A 15 min private chat that everyones knows about it more to do with PR or trying to defuse any static he might be getting from his team rather than any real talk of moving. I'd guess that sort of thing would be done very privately along way from any race weekend.

One of the best drivers, one of the best teams. I'd be surprised if they hadn't discussed it.

Discussing and doing are a long way apart though.

Hamilton is hungry for success, and i dont think he cares where it comes from. He clearly has issues controlling his frustration hence all the mistakes he has been making.

I dont think he would think too long about moving to a more competitive team.

The talk was a driver swop with LH going to Reb Bull and Webber (who gets on well with Button) coming Macca.

Or if Schumacher stays on at Merc next year, likely DiResta would go to Macca...?

As has been said, that's a lot of ego's at Red Bull BEFORE adding LH into the mix

I think it would be great to see Hamilton and Vettel teaming up at Red Bull.

Much more interesting than the current, comfortable situation there. It is almost as if Webber has slipped into the 'Rubens' role this season.

Vettel and Hamilton, the new Alonso and Hamilton- can't see it working.... would be an almost unstoppable combination on paper though.

Most importantly- does the Red Bull have strong enough front wings and hub uprights for the shunting style Lewis likes to adopt :-) Even Jenson has enjoyed the robust Macca last weekend shunting Fred onto the curb (deservedly IMO)

Think that this is a different set of circumstances. Alonso went to a team where he thought he would be number 1 driver, driving with a "rookie" which was clearly not the case.
