Hi all,

I'm just trying to get my head round all of the GT racing series that are available to watch on TV, so can people please help me fill in the blanks? I don't have Sky, so there may be some that I just can't get to watch. So far I have:

FiA GT1 series, show on Bloomberg and on the web at [urlhttp://www.gt1world.com/
FiA GT3 series, show on Bloomberg and on the web at [urlhttp://www.gt1world.com/
LMS or whatever it is called now?
ALMS?

Any others?

ILMC (ACO Rules) (Eurosport)
British GT (SRO GT3 and GT4) (Motorstv and Channel4)
French GT (SRO GT3) (MotorsTV)
Dutch Supercar (a world unto themselves) (Motorstv)
GT Open (no idea what spec, too many Ferraris for my liking) (MotorsTV)
BelCar (SRO GT3) (MotorsTV)
GT Cup (anything with 2 doors and a roof) (MotorsTV)
Britcar (ditto) (SkySports?)

Not on UK tv:

VLN (Nurburgring based series)

Plus:

ADAC GT Masters (SRO GT3) (MotorsTV)
Superstars GT Sprint (GT2, GT3, GT4 and GT Cup) (MotorsTV)

GT Open is roughly equivalent to FIA GT2 & GT3

There is also a GT class in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series, but I don't think anyone shows highlights anymore.

So would it be true to say that the only two series running prototypes are the ILMC/LMS/LMES amd the ALMS?

Yes, basically.

Grand-Am has its own version - Daytona Prototypes - but they are an acquired taste for many.

There is the Speed Euroseries running smaller capacity LMP style cars => http://www.speedeuroseries.com/
and the French V de V series for similar cars (maybe even the same rules, I don't follow either series) => http://www.vdev.fr/

Plus, of course, various one makes series for Radicals.
