Silverstone Camping - Can you take your car out?

We are arriving on Friday in the Woodlands camping site! Cant wait!

The question is, once settled, can you leave by car and go food shopping or are you imprisoned!!!!?

Not sure about Woodlands site but at Whittlebury you can come and go except for rainy conditions to reduce mud caused by traffic on wet grass.
