So don't buy one or go and see them smile

Some people might want to see it, or do it, and it's a nice experiment. I don't see the downside - if it helps to keep Lola in business.

I have a bad feeling about it as well. The sound adds to ambience/atmosphere , take that away and it seems either unimportant or much less so.

Makes me think of rocket dragsters as against Top fuel.

The former may in ideal conditions be quicker, but heck, there is nothing like a top fueller charging. I would travel to see the latter on its own..I would not for the former.

Why not indeed.

I would be happy to watch this, perhaps not in isolation, but as part of a race meeting, it would be interesting.

The upside is advancing technology, the downside is if it is seen as a 'greeny' thing.

Silent racing is very strange, but it's very impressive nonetheless.

I think electrics could allow the creation of some interesting indoor circuits, maybe underground ones too?

Why not the electic race at pau the other much was intresting to watch compared to some of the other series. Anyway is developments in technology audi and peugeot running desiels in lemans so why cant you have electric if they can make it work then good on them. Also drayson runs bi-ethonal astons so electric is the next step.
