Why do we as paying customers allow this situation, we have an issue on track, the safety car comes out, picks wherever to join and the cars in front gain a lap.
I don't care for the excuse that "this is racing", or "everyone suffers at some point", or "its too difficult to organise and people get confused"!
Bloody well sort it!
I am a paying customer, the team want a race, when the driver sees the competition disappear in front of the safety car it is soul destroying.
I am sure that everyone will happily agree to the safety car letting the cars behind past until the leader is collected.
I say again, we pay for the privilege of racing, when this happens, we no longer have a race. It becomes a very expensive track day, and I know we may be told that we could have another safety car, but we may not.
And if we do get to be able to pass the car to catch the pack up, please let us catch the pack up, not wait till we are half way round and then release.
As a paying customer, I expect to get what I pay for, as a paying customer I expect to be treated as a...................................... oh yes, a paying customer.
Stop killing the race for the CUSTOMER (The Competitor).
